Team up with your peers (group of three) and join us at the main games to win your badge of honour and food vouchers.

Collect all three badges of honour and receive a finisher’s medal at the end of the carnival. Regardless of your fitness level, we have something in store for you.

Never attempted any of these sports? Try out at the Introductory Level.

Got what it takes? Skip the Introduction Level and challenge you and your teammates to take on the Intense Level. What’s more, win food vouchers if you complete the Intense Level.

DBS Battle Bay


Are you eager for an activity that combines novelty, challenge and teamwork? Then the first-of-its-kind water obstacle course is for you! Overcome a series of hurdles at the outdoor pool and test your endurance. Are you ready to tackle the ultimate DBS Battle Bay?

Introductory: Complete the challenge in a time limit of three minutes.

Intense: Complete the challenge in a time limit of two minutes.

Terms & Conditions:
  • Participants form teams of 3 and are flagged off in waves.
  • There are 2 obstacle courses and teams can choose to participate in either of them. Teams only need to complete 1 of the 2 obstacle courses to get the stamp.
  • All team members must complete the course. The time starts when the first team member crosses the start line, and stops when the last team member crosses the finish line.
  • Participants form a team of three and are flagged off in waves.
  • There are three obstacle courses and teams can choose to participate in either of them. Teams only need to complete one of the three obstacle courses to get the stamp.
  • All team members must complete the course. The time starts when the first team member crosses the start line, and stops when the last team member crosses the finish line.
  • Teams must register for the Battle Bay during the online registration and indicate their availability (30-min slots)
  • Participants can be in sports attire (without footwear), but are encouraged to be in swimwear.
  • Life-jackets and helmets are provided and mandatory.
  • All members must complete the obstacles. Any member who failed to clear the obstacle will incur a time penalty (suggested: 30s).
  • If a member falls off an obstacle, he/she will incur a time penalty (suggested: 30s) and must move on to the next obstacle.
  • Participants will incur the time penalty if more than half of your body is in the water.
  • Failure to observe the following rules may result in disqualification.

Learn to play six sports in a fun way at Let’s Play!

Badge of Honour: Complete three out of six Let’s Play sports!

Terms & Conditions:
  • There are six stations - Archery, Bouldering, Golf, Mini Badminton, Mini Table Tennis, and Mini Tennis.
  • Introduction Level: You would have ‘completed’ the station if you spend 10 minutes at each sport; Alternatively, your team may opt out of Introduction Level and go straight to Intense Level.
  • Intense Mode: would have ‘completed’ the station if you succeed in the challenge within the given time frame. Be rewarded with a food voucher at the F&B corner.
  • Complete three out of the six sports (regardless of Level) to receive your Badge of Honour.
  • Go for a 30 min introduction of the sport.
  • Teams may opt out of introduction and go straight to Intense which could either be cooperative or having a member of the team complete the task.
  • Intense challenge must be completed within the time limit given by Station master.
  • Teams can opt to go skip Intro and head for Intense - completion of intense would be awarded a voucher and medal.
  • Going through a 30 min introduction mode of any of Let’s play would be a “complete”

SplashDown (Mass Swim)


Make a splash with us at the first Splashdown (Mass Swim) held at the new University Sports Centre’s (USC) sheltered swimming pool. In a team of three, complete either the Introduction Level to receive your badge of honour. Hungry for food vouchers or simply want to push your limit against the tide? The Intense Level would be your go-to challenge.

Dive into the challenge with your friends at Splashdown!

Introductory: 20 laps in total.

Intense: 30 laps in total.

Terms & Conditions:
  • Participants form teams of 3
  • There are no allocated waves. Participants are to report at the briefing area and the pool officials will dispatch swimmers accordingly.
  • Direction of swim alternates with each lane (see diagram)
  • Swimmers are only allowed to enter the pool at lanes 0,2,4,6,8 (via the briefing area), but are allowed to exit the pool at any lane.
  • Every lap (50m) completed entitles participants to one (1) rubber band, to be collected at the end of the lap.
  • Participants must be in proper swimming attire (See photo).
  • Participants can complete the laps at any time during the duration of the event. It is not a requirement to complete the laps in one attempt.
  • At least 2 members (out of 3) of the team must take part. Non-swimmers are allowed to sit out. Weak swimmers may request for a torpedo tube (see photo) as a aid.
  • For those who take part, they must swim at least 2 laps to be eligible for the prizes.
  • Teams are not allowed to share and consolidate rubber bands.
  • Incomplete laps are not counted.
  • Cutting across lane ropes is not allowed.
  • Flip turns or tumble turns are not allowed.
  • Any form of swimming aid (pool buoy, paddles, float etc.) is not allowed (except for weak swimmers).
  • Failure to observe the following rules may result in disqualification.
